Hi, I’m Kristi, co-owner of Sam Heuck Web Development.

My degree and a lot of my experience is in music composition and audio engineering. In my side business SongInvention, I produce and engineer music on commission.

Some years ago, Sam and I prototyped a SongInvention website where people could order custom music for weddings, birthdays, and special events. As we built the site, I mostly designed the user experience, Sam did the coding.

Then life started life-ing, I started branching out into advocacy work, we started our company, and today SongInvention is in “stealth mode,” not yet launched to the public.

Still, this website is a good example of the branding and UX design we can do for small business e-commerce - so we present it here as a case study.
